Abstract

A new family of semi coherent states (semi-CSs), for a charged particle moving
in a constant uniform magnetic field have been introduced.We have shown that they can be
interpreted as nonlinear coherent states (NLCSs) with a special nonlinearity function. By
investigation on some of their nonclassical features, it has bee shown that contrary to the
well known semi-CSs, they exhibit second-order squeezing. Finally, we establish relation
between them and two mode displaced number coherent states (DNCSs).
