Abstract Introduction: Leadership mode is a way that a leader chooses to help his group, do his tasks and meet group requirements with it. Coaches are responsible for leading the sports teams. Athletes are different in desirable personal functions. Not all of coaches are readiness for encountering with these personal needs. Thus, the evaluation of different aspects of athletes' satisfying in relation with sports experiences is useful for understanding some parts of their senses and tendencies. Purpose of this study is the evaluation of relationship between coaches' leadership mode and satisfying of football players. Method: The method of this study is a descriptive- correlative method. Its population was all football players that being active at Ahwaz football schools that were 300 persons, and according to Morgan sample table 168 athletes were selected randomly as a sample. For collecting data, athletes answered to coaches' leadership mode questionnaire (LSS) and athlete's satisfying questionnaire(ASQ). Results: The results detected a positive significant relation between leadership behavior understanding by athletes and athletes' satisfying, but there is no significant relation between imperious mode and all of satisfying indexes. However, analyzing the results showed that football coaches used instruction and train mode more than democratic mode. Conclusion: This means athletes believe that while football coaches give a special emphasis for skills instruction, and practices; they pay a little attention for athletes' ideas about team problems, and they usually make decisions alone.
