Abstract
Activity coefficients and Gibbs free energy of transfer of the ternary NH4NO3+Fructose+ water at 298.15 K by electromotive force measurements were communicated and discussed. Electrochemical cells with a ammonium ion selective electrode (NH4–ISE) versus a nitrate ion selective electrode (NO3–ISE) as a reference electrode were used to determine the activity coefficients for NH4 NO3 – monosaccharide (Frucrose) systems in water at 298.15 K. Pitzer ion-interaction model has been used for correlating the data. A comparison of the results with literatures yields consistent results
