Abstract
This paper is focused on probabilistic analysis for optimal operation of multi microgrids considering economic and reliability aspects. In this paper the economic and reliable operation of microgrids is formulated and solved as an optimization problem. The network is assumed to be supplied by dispatchable and nondispatchable generators. The optimization goal is to minimize the overall microgrid operating cost, power losses cost, the pollutants emission cost of the dispatchable generators and cost of energy not supply (ENS). The economic and reliability evaluation is done under uncertain behavior of microgrids (MGs) components. The system uncertainties are considered using a set of scenarios. A scenario reduction method is applied to enhance a tradeoff between the accuracy of the solution and the computational burden. Non-dominated sorting Genetic algorithm (NSGAII) is applied to minimize the objective function as an optimization algorithm. Moreover, an approach based on fuzzy set theory is developed to extract one of the Pareto-optimal solutions as the best compromise one. The effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method are validated through extensive numerical tests on IEEE 54-bus test distribution system. The results show that the proposed framework can be considered as an efficient tool in optimal operation of multi-microgrids.
