Polynuclear compounds incorporating copper(II) with small anions (like halide or hydroxo units) as bridging groups are the subject of numerous papers in contemporary literature. Many of these polynuclear complexes are of interest because of their relevance as models for active sites of biomolecules , and also because of their interesting magnetic properties . On the other hand, pyrazole-based ligands have been the subject of much research interest owing to their rich coordination chemistry and a number of established and potential application areas
