A new structure of a three input single output stepup DC-DC converter is proposed in this paper. The proposed converter consists of two conventional boost converter and a middle capacitor which increases the voltage gain of the proposed converter. Two unidirectional input source and one storage element (such as battery) as bidirectional input can connect to the
proposed converter. The battery can be charged and discharged by the input sources. Three power switches and three diodes are employed in the presented converter. In addition, two inductors are connected to the input sources which reduce the input current ripples are facilitate power point tracking in the case of connecting Photovoltaic panel or Fuel Cell as inputs to the proposed converter. The steady state analysis of the proposed converter in the three mode of charging, discharging the battery and also when the battery is bypassed is discussed. Finally, the simulation results in MATLAB/SIMULINK is presented to validate the analysis.
