Amorphous NiWO4 nanostructure is suggested to exert a synergistic impact on the efficiency of the NiGa-layered double hydroxide (NiGa-LDH) as a supercapacitor electrode material. NiWO4/ NiGa-LDH nanocomposites were synthesized under mild conditions and at room temperature by using deionized water as a solvent. The synthesized nanocomposites were characterized with Powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and field- emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) techniques. Electrochemical tests of nanocomposites were considered by using cyclic voltammetry (CV), galvanostatic charge-discharge and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) techniques. The results reveals that NiWO4/NiGa-layered double hydroxide nanocomposite has higher specific capacitance in pseudocapacitors.
