Among various metals, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are of particular interest due to their remarkable antimicrobial and localized surface plasmon resonance properties, which render them unique properties such as broad-spectrum antimicrobial [1،2]. Lavandula angustifolia, known as Spike lavender or Portuguese lavender, is a flowering plant in the family Lamiaceae, The flowers and leaves of this plant are used as a herbal medicine, in the form of a herbal tea [3]. In this paper, a green synthesis route was followed, in order to obtain silver nanoparticles with possible utilization for medical devices.
