Two new Aceria species (Acari: Eriophyoidea) from Lythrum salicania L and Verbascum cheiranthilalium in Iran

Abstract
In order to study on eriophyoid mite fauna of Ajabshir region in East Azerbaijan province (Iran), sampling was done on plants of the families Lythraceae and Scrophollaraceae in 2016. The eriophyoid mites were recovered by means of a modified washing method. The mites were slide mounted according to Baker et al. (1996). The terminology and the setal notation in the morphological description of the mite follow mainly Lindquist (1996). All morphological measurements were taken by means of a phase contrast microscope Olympus BX53 according to Amrine and Manson (1996) as modified by de Lillo et al. (2010).
