Abstract
In this paper, the effect of the intrinsic decoherence on the estimation of coupling constant of the Jaynes- Cummings model is studied. We determine proper initial states that maximize the quantum Fisher information. Furthermore, optimal measurements where saturate the Cramér-Rao inequality are presented.
