Abstract
Human Emotion Recognition (HER) is one of the challenging components of Human Computer Interaction (HCI). Nowadays the fields of HCI and deep learning are being increasingly used to extract emotions. This would make it possible for people to survive and be used in across-theboard fields, including education and medicine. Several fields, such as pattern recognition and Artificial Intelligence (AI), have used the emotion recognition scheme for building Human-Machine Interaction [1]. This paper presents an overview of Emotion Recognition through speech signals variation and text semantics. Moreover, the paper brings into light the limitations associated with these methods and briefly discusses the privileges of combining these domains together.
