Abstract

The main purpose of my study is to compare the Romantic poets Abu Al-Qasim Alshabbi and Percy Bysshe
Shelley according to the aspects of Nature in the suggested poems. The American literary critic Harold Bloom
describes Shelley as “a superb craftsman a lyric poet without rival and surely one of the most advanced skeptical
intellects ever to write a poem”. Also, in his book, Poets of the Modern Renaissance, the well-known Iraqi poet
Faleh Al-kilani mentioned that Abu Al-Qasim Alshabbi “is a sentimental poet despite his young age, a glorious
and multi-talented poet. His poetry is characterized by romance and easy words close to the hearts”.
