Abstract
Hydrogen peroxide is an important molecule because it is extensively used in food, pharmaceutical, chemical, and environmental industries. Also H2O2 behaves as a messenger molecule in various redox-dependent cellular signaling transductions. The abnormal concentration of H2O2 in living organisms may cause serious diseases. Therefore, the sensitive quantification of a trace level of H2O2 is important in health examination and environmental protection. As a potent analytical tool, electrochemical sensors have demonstrated superior abilities to detect electroactive chemicals, particularly biological samples. In order to overcome the limitations of electroanalytical techniques, using highly sensitive electrodes with various modifiers is required. Among the different electrode modifiers, PB nanoparticles have demonstrated interesting properties in electrochemistry, which increases their application potential in electrochemical sensors. As PB and mxene are interested materials on the electrodes surface, we aim to simultaneously take advantage of mxene and PB for the determination of H2O2 in biological samples. It is expected that by using mxene and PB on the surface of the modified electrodes, the sensitivity of hydrogen peroxide measurement will increase and we will be able to measure this compound in lower concentrations
