Abstract

In this pap er, we study the algebraic structure of differential invariants of a fifth-order KdV equation, known as
Kawaha KdV equation. Using the moving frames metho d, we lo cate a finite generating set of differential invariants,
recurrence relations, and syzygies among the differential invariants generators of the equations. We prove that
the differential invariant algebra of the equation can b e generated by two first-order differential invariants.
