Abstract
|
In cases where refrigeration is needed at low temperatures, the use of single-stage refrigeration systems is not cost-effective because the high-pressure ratio in the compressor leads to an increase in the oil outlet temperature and a decrease in volumetric efficiency and cycle efficiency. Cascade compression refrigeration cycles are an effective method to increase the efficiency of refrigeration systems and create low temperatures used in various industries. The main objective of this research is to thermodynamic study the performance of a two-stage cascade refrigeration system by using various global word potential refrigerants.
