In the present research, a novel combined system is proposed in which an improved Kalina cycle is integrated with the HT-PEMFC to utilize its waste heat. Also, an electrolyzer is coupled to the Kalina cycle in order to produce the required hydrogen of the HT-PEMFC. The proposed system is investigated comprehensively from the viewpoints of first and second law of thermodynamics. Then a parametric study is performed to evaluate the effects of some key parameters on the system behavior.
