Fauna of eriophyoid mites in the Lahrud and Ahmedabad villages of Meshginshahr city, including four new records for the Ardabil province, Iran

Abstract In order to identify and introduce eriophyoid species in the pastures of Lahrud and Ahmedabad villages of Meshginshahr city, sampling were done randomly from the dominant plants of the area during the cropping season of 2019. Mite specimens were extracted from plant foliage and mounted on microscopic slides. During this study, the one family, two subfamilies, three tribes, seven genera and 17 species were identified, among which, the following four species include: Aceria khaniensis Honarmand, Sadeghi & de lillo, 2020 ، Aceria spanda Lotfollahi, Haddad & de Lillo, 2015 ،Calepitrimerus baileyi Keifer, 1938, Aculops allotrichus (Nalepa, 1894) were new records for Ardebil province, Iran.
