Abstract
In thisstudy, we described and illustrated two new Aceriaspecies (Eriophyidae: Eriophyinae: Aceriini) associated with the Asteraceae host plants in rangelands of Lahrud and Agh Qal'eh villages, in Meshginshahr county, Ardabil province, Iran. They are Aceria anthemisLotfollahi etHemmatzadeh sp. nov.on Anthemis arvensis L. and Aceria carthamiLotfollahi etHemmatzadeh sp. nov.on Carthamus lanatusL. Both new mite species are vagrants causing no apparent damage to their host plants.
