Abstract In this paper, we investigate witnessing entanglement by quantum memory-assisted entropic uncertainty in a non-equilibrium quantum system includes a two-qubit XXZ spin chain. Also, entanglement witnessing in an antiferromagnetic chain is more resistant to non-equilibrium conditions than that of the ferromagnetic chain, and this witnessing is controllable by the applied magnetic field.
