Abstract
Tungsten oxide is a versatile material with many properties, including very low toxicity for living organisms and compatible with the environment. In this research work, sensitive and selective determination of Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) based on pencil lead electrode modified with tungsten oxide (PLE /WO3) nanocomposite modified electrode was reported. The prepared electrode was studied by electrochemical methods and finally used to determine H2O2 as a disinfectant and antimicrobial agent in hair mask care sample. In order to analysis H2O2 in low concentrations in hair mask care was investigated by the Hydrodynamic chronoamperometry method and the obtained results include a linear analytical response in the concentration range of 50 to 1000 µM. The sensitivity of the electrode was obtained to be -1087.5 µA/µM and standard deviation of blank the LOD of PLE /WO3 for H2O2 measurement was calculated to be 27 µM and the optimum pH = 2. According to the results of the studies obtained in this research, this research has the necessary precision and accuracy, and this method can be used for quick detection of H2O2 in care samples such as hair masks.
