Abstract
The need for appropriate pharmacotherapeutic monitoring of antifungal medications is increased due to the growing prevalence of fungal infections, particularly nosocomial ones [13]. Appropriate methods for determining medication concentrations are necessary since low levels can result in toxicities or therapy failure. The sensitivity and repeatability of the majority of antifungal medication analysis methods now in use are negatively impacted by subpar sample preparation processes [14]. This might mark the beginning of a new era in which analytical chemistry challenges can be addressed with the aid of 3D printing. By maximizing characteristics that might significantly improve the precision and efficiency of microextraction methods, it makes it possible to design and create unique fibers. Additionally, this lowers production costs and material waste, aligning with worldwide sustainability ideas. Above all, this is a novel study that examines the production of 3D-printed fibers to examine a highly specialized yet significant field of clinical and pharmaceutical research: antifungal medications.
