Abstract
The importance of this research lies in its potential to provide a deeper understanding of the role of inflammation in the progression of type 2 diabetes and its complications. Chronic inflammation has been identified as a key factor in the development of many health issues in diabetic patients, and COX-2, an enzyme involved in the production of inflammatory mediators, is believed to play a significant role. By focusing on COX-2 levels, this study aims to establish its potential as a reliable biomarker for monitoring the severity of inflammation and its connection to other biochemical variables such as HbA1c and CRP [4, 5]. Understanding this relationship can lead to improved diagnostic and therapeutic strategies, allowing for better management of diabetes and its complications. Furthermore, as type 2 diabetes continues to rise globally, exploring innovative biomarkers like COX-2 becomes a priority for enhancing patient care and reducing the burden of this disease on public health. This research addresses a crucial gap in the current literature and provides a new perspective on the link between inflammation and metabolic disorders.
