Abstract
During field surveys of eriophyoid mites in Bostanabad county (East Azerbaijan province, Iran) during summer 2023, two new eriophyid species (Acari: Eriophyoidea: Eriophyidae) were discovered, described and illustrated including Aceria eryngardierei Sajedian et Lotfollahi sp. nov. on Eryngium billardierei F. Delaroche (Apiaceae) and Aculops bracteosa Sajedian et Lotfollahi sp. nov. on Alkanna bracteosa Boiss (Boraginaceae). No apparent symptom was observed in host plants.
