چکیده
The effect of cold rolling (CR) and reverse martensite transformation (RMT) on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Fesingle bond18Ni martensitic steel was investigated. Cold work introduced a high density of dislocations, which, combined with controlled RMT, promoted grain refinement and austenite reversion. Fine-grained austenite (∼20 μm at 5 cycles) transformed into refined martensite, resulting in a ∼ 16% and a ∼ 20% increase in tensile strength and hardness, respectively. The strengthening behavior is governed by the combined effects of grain refinement, dislocation density, and phase evolution. Optimized thermomechanical cycles can effectively tailor the microstructure and performance of high-strength Fesingle bondNi steels.
