چکیده
Todays, all-solid-state lasers have been widely used in medical, safety testing, materials processing, atomic experiments and other fields due to their high efficiency, stable beam output and high beam quality. With the development of new and high-performance gain media, all-solid-state lasers have been further developed. Z-cavity all-solid-state lasers can achieve longer optical paths, smaller volume and higher energy storage efficiency. They have advantages in wavelength tuning, mode selection and mode-locked pulses. However, due to the large number of cavity parameters involved in the Z-cavity (such as the length of the arm and the radius of curvature of the mirror, see Figure-1), and the increasing thermal lensing effect of the laser crystal as the pump power increases, the stability of the resonant cavity is compromised. Therefore, the stability of the Z-cavity has always been an important factor affecting the normal operation of the laser. In this work, we will investigate effect of some important parameters of stability condition and beam quality in a 4-mirror laser cavity in the form of Z-configuration.
