Abstract

The presentation started with the introduction of Spatial criticism in literature and the main difference between the concepts of place and space. Later, the main theorists in the realm of spatial criticism and their key concepts were discussed. Among them are: Yi-Fu Tuan's place vs. space- Henri Lefebvre's production of space- Edward Soda's post-metropolis- Edward Relph's placelessness and Marc Auge's non-place
