چکیده Carbon nitrides can exist in several allotrops with diverse properties. Particularly, the graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) with a two-dimensional structure is the most stable under ambient conditions. Graphitic carbon nitride nanosheets, two dimension (2D) semiconductor material, like to graphene p- conjugated electronic structure and rigorous C-N plane along the individual layers, have attracted considerable research interest in recent years. Due to high fluorescence quantum yield, extreme stability, nontoxicity and spectacular biocompatibility, g-C3N4 has been applied to ion detection [1,2], photocatalysis [3,4], and so on. In this study, g-C3N4 was synthesized via pyrolysis of urea as a low-cost and abundant precursor. The effect of temperature during pyrolysis of urea was investigated and the results were discussed. This g-C3N4 was characterized by transmission electron microscope, X-ray diffraction and fourier-transform infrared. Electrochemical behavior of g-C3N4 modified carbon ceramic electrode was studied in hexacyanoferrate as an electroactive probe and the results were compared with bare CCE.
