Silver doped graphitic carbon nitride nanocamposite was synthesized in one step procces
by thermal treatment using of urea as an abundant and inexpensive precursor [1]. The
properties of resulting Ag/g-C3N4 nanocamposite was investigated by various techniques such
as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission
electron microscopy(TEM).
The Ag/g-C3N4 was used as a new platform for surface modification of carbon ceramic
electrode (CCE) by casting. The electrocatalitical behavior and stability of modiefied
electrode was investigated by cyclic voltammetry. Finally Ag/g-C3N4/CCE was used as an
iodate sensor which showed an efficient catalytic effect on the electrochemical reduction of
iodate. The effects of solution pH and scan rate on the reduction of iodate was surveid.
Calibration curve was ploted by chronoamperometic method. The selectivity and lifetime of
the electrode were studied and table salt and sea salt were used as real samples for studing
applicability of modified electrode. The liner range
