Investigation of Lateral Vibrations in Elevator Cabin with Roller Shoes

چکیده
: In recent years, the use of elevators has been widespread due to the high-rise buildings, and research has been done on the dynamics of the elevator cabin. As well as increasing the safety and comfort of the users, it will increase the performance of the elevators. In this research, the effect of roller shoes on the elevator has been investigated by studying the lateral vibration of elevator cabin. Modeling of the elevator cabin and its components is base on the number of degrees of freedom and kinematic of guide shoe rollers of wheels type, connected to the cabin through equivalent spring-dampers moving laterally. By analysing the effective lateral forces of the cabin and the free body diagrams, the governing equations are extracted by using the energy method and writing the Lagrange-Euler equation. The well-known state space method and numerical tools in MATLAB software are used to solve the system of equations. Lateral stability, critical speed, dynamic behavior of cabin, time response and natural frequencies are presented. The effect of spring stiffness and damper coefficient on cabin vibration is investigated. Also, the effect of the shoe on the motion quality and lateral vibration of the cabin is studied. The results of this study suggest how to install the elevator, especially the cabin, and the proper choice of elevator roller guides, and the proper level of the surface and the lack of inequality on the surface of the guide rails can greatly improve the vibration of the cabin
