Crime is a behavior that a community criminalizes it on the basis of the common law, the government criminalizes it based on law, and Fiqh criminalizes it based on punishment. One of the best achievements in the recent decades is fair punishment of offenders. Bidel Dehlavi is a Persian great poet that by creating unique masterpieces has reached the apex of Persian literature and mysticism. Bidel has reflected some of the crimes committed in his day in his works. Apparently, although Bidel lived in an era when Safavid kings gave official recognition to Shia in order to promote such righteous religion, under the coverage of religion they perpetrated behaviors and actions that mostly could be categorized as crime and they were bereft of Islamic justice. Using a library-based approach, the current article seeks to find reflection and aftermath of the crimes commonly committed at that particular era in the works of Bidel Dehlavi in such a manner to analyze and then to realize the atmosphere of that era and the provisions and penalties issued by the rulers. As an intellectual of his own time, Bidel describes these crimes on various occasions in its poetry.
