The proposal focuses on optimizing microgrid (MG) formation in power distribution systems, emphasizing the integration of Distributed Generators (DGs) and Energy Storage Systems (ESSs). It identifies MGs as a solution for reliable power supply in both grid-connected and islanded modes, utilizing renewable and non-renewable energy sources. Challenges like demand fluctuations and generator variability are addressed through optimal resource allocation and advanced methodologies.
