Salinity is one of the most impor tant environmental factors lead s to r eduction of agricultural products. The tolerance range of plants against salinity is different, and hence, selecting of plants for saline agriculture must be regarded from different aspects . Primary establishing conditions of plant s has an important role in final function. Germina tion is o ne of the most sensitive stages to salinity . In order to study the effect of salinity on Z ygophyllum fabago L. germination a completely randomized design experiment has been done with three replicates. Salinity treatments were 0, 100 and 200 mM NaCl. The number of germinated seeds was counted each 12 hour . During 7 days some features h ave been measured . The results showed that Z ygophil l um fabago L. has high tolerance to salinity in germination stage and with correct farm management ; we can success in establishment of this plant under soil and water salinity.
