Pyrazole- derived ligands have been interesting compounds over the last decades because of their rich coordination chemistry, unusual structural features and remarkable physical and chemical properties. This compounds are shown to possess important biological and pharmaceutical activities.1 In this project, the new N-donor pyrazol-based ligands have been synthesized, then their copper(II) complexes were prepared from CuCl2 salts (with 1:2 ratio) under reflux for 4h in methanol.2,3 These compounds have been characterized with FT-IR spectroscopy, 1H-NMR analysis and CHN analysis.
