چکیده
This study puts forward an optimal framework for unit commitment scheduling of distributed generation (DG) units in integrated natural gas and electricity distributions system (INGEDS) under high penetration of coordinated plug-in electric vehicles (PEV), flexibility sources, and renewable energy sources (RES). The inherent uncertainties in daily commutes of the PEV drivers, RES production, natural gas and electricity demand, were handled by stochastic programming (SP) scenarios, which were generated according to the corresponding probability distribution of each parameter. Furthermore, the uncertainties in free electricity market price were dealt with the robust optimization (RO) approach. The study scrutinized the economictechnical advantages of using linepack model in natural gas distribution network (GDN) and responsive demand programming in electric distribution network (EDN). The K-means clustering model was deployed to cluster PEVs according to the behavior of their owners. Standard 20-mode GDN and IEEE 33-bus EDN systems were deployed to model the embedded energy system. The problem was solved by the standard CPLEX solver. The outcomes illustrate that smart PEV charging strategy, linepack model, and electrical demand response increase the total flexibility of the system and bring down total operation expenditure by 25%.
