The oscillation problem for second order nonlinear differential equations has been studied in many papers. In this work the second order nonlinear differential equation of generalized Euler type t2u'' + f(u)tu_ + g(u) = 0 t > 0; (1) is cosidered and some implicit necessary and sucient conditions and some explicit suffcient conditions are given for all nontrivial solutions of this equation to be oscillatory.
