Eriophyoidea is a large mite superfamily with a worldwide distribution. They are strictly phytophagous, many of them can have the pest status in agricultural systems and are considered the second most economically important group of mite plant pests. During the study of plant samples collected in Sari county, Mazandaran province, Iran, in summer 2017, eriophyoid mites were recovered using a modified washing method.
