This study is designed to investigate the effect of emotional valence, arousal and mood, and state anxiety on L2 word recognition time. Participants are chosen from intermediate level, and they will read sentences in which there are target words inserted. Meanwhile, their eye-movements are recorded by an eye-tracker to be analyzed later. The eye fixation time would provide us knowledge to know the effective factors on l2 word recognition time in reading.
