Audiovisual translation (AVT) has started its activity since 1929, when European and American movie companies began dubbing their products, but compared to text translation it is considered an emerging field of translation; in this type of translation, which has more practical and technical aspects, less attention has been paid to the theoretical issues of word translation. The design of this research is also more important and necessary because it interprets the translation as comparison in Persian dubbed movies and their English originals with an analytical approach. The methodology includes a qualitative look into documents and data related to audiovisual translation. In fact, this research aims to fully explain the various hermeneutic aspects of translation and considerations in the field of audiovisual translation. Moreover, the limitations of the plans and researches conducted in the field of hermeneutic analysis of translation as comparison in Persian dubbed movies and their English originals in the field of translation studies and especially in the field of audiovisual translation is something that contributes to its necessity and novelty as it is an unprecedented research.
