چکیده
internet of Things (IoT) refers to the connection of various devices to the Internet, such as cars, refrigerators, mobile phones, smart doors, disease monitoring, or any other monitoring device [1]. As with any electronic application, the aspect of information security is one of the most difficult challenges in creating and designing such networks. so secure authentication is crucial as the Internet of Things (IoT) grows. Biometric authentication, a more secure and convenient means to identify users, has gained popularity in recent years. Finger vein authentication is a valid biometric approach for user identification. Finger vein identification is resistant to faking and more private than fingerprints and facial recognition. We propose to investigate the use of finger veins for authentication and security in IoT devices. The primary aim of this thesis is to develop a system that leverages finger vein authentication to provide secure access to IoT devices. Specifically, we will explore the effectiveness of finger vein authentication in a range of scenarios, such as different lighting conditions and finger orientations. We will also investigate the feasibility of implementing this system on a variety of IoT devices, such as smart home devices, wearables, and industrial sensors. This research could improve IoT security by creating a more secure and convenient authentication technique. This study will illuminate IoT devices and address biometric authentication restrictions. This research could also impact healthcare, finance, and transportation, where safe and accurate authentication is essential. The proposed research contributes to biometric authentication and IoT security research and provides practical solutions for safe and user-friendly IoT devices.
