چکیده
The concept of spiritual union in the poetry of Rumi and William Blake reflects a deep, mystical connection to the divine and the universe. Both poets explore the journey of the soul toward union with the transcendent, emphasizing love, surrender, and inner transformation. Rumi, rooted in Sufism, conveys spiritual union as a merging of the individual soul with the divine through ecstatic love and divine longing. Similarly, Blake’s mystical vision presents spiritual union as a profound, visionary experience where the human soul aligns with divine truth and creative energy. While Rumi emphasizes the dissolution of the self in union with God, Blake stresses the transformative power of imagination and the possibility of spiritual enlightenment through inner vision. Despite their different religious contexts, both poets view mystical union as an elevation of the soul beyond the material world, transcending the boundaries of time and space. Their poems advocate a path of inner purification, self-awareness, and ultimate unity with the divine. The shared themes of divine love, the rejection of materialism, and the pursuit of spiritual truth form the core of their mystical thought. Through metaphor and symbolism, Rumi and Blake articulate the ineffable nature of spiritual experience, urging the seeker to embark on a journey of self-discovery and divine connection.
