Shakespeare's oeuvre has transcended time and geographical boundaries, finding resonance not only in its original forms but
also through myriad adaptations across various mediums. This thesis aims to explore the relationship between Shakespeare's
dramas and their adaptations in contemporary literature, theatre, and film, focusing on how these reinterpretations reflect
changing cultural values and social issues.
This study, beyond the main intertextual analysis, presents considerations for broader connections to other literary works,
which resonate through themes such as the human condition in modern life. This includes examining how the narratives
address universal themes such as the quest for meaning and the impact of art and culture on human life through adaptations
of great literary works for children education.
