چکیده
Attention to teacher emotions has been revitalized by the emergence of positive psychology (PP) and turned the area of focus from negative attributes to positive aspects. Among the researches done in field of teacher emotions, a preponderance of teacher-related investigations has been mirrored upon non-functionality of teachers such as fatigue, stress, and exhaustion. However, in the world full of negative factors, teachers need to increase their life quality through positive psychology. The main objective of present study is to clarify and broaden the understanding of factors influencing zest for work among English as foreign language (EFL) teachers. Particularly, this research examines how teacher resilience and academic buoyancy are related to zest for work, considering the mediating role of teacher immunity in these connections. The research will engage around 300 teachers of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) from a range of educational settings across different regions. The study will employ a dual-mode data collection strategy utilizing both digital and physical questionnaires to maximize accessibility and response rates. The digital questionnaire will be developed and administered through Google Forms, selected for its user-friendly interface, widespread familiarity among educators, and efficient data organization capabilities. The analytical strategy will employ a comprehensive approach utilizing structural equation modeling (SEM) as the primary analytical framework. A relatively new construct will be introduced in this research. Having explored in sports field and social studies, zest for work is scarcely examined in teacher education and L2 fields as well as its relationship with other interconnected constructs by means of pedagogical and conceptual frameworks.
