Visible Light Positioning (VLP) is a promising technology for indoor applications. The utilization of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) as transmitters within the VLP framework offers several benefits compared to radio frequency (RF) beacons, rendering the system particularly advantageous for healthcare applications. In this research, we have introduced a VLP system tailored to align with the hospital setting. We have developed the power delay profile for the received signal and subsequently assessed the presence of the line-of-sight (LoS) link by extracting the root mean square (RMS) delay spread. Following this, we presented a modified deep Gaussian process (MDGP) that employs multiple kernels to accurately estimate user locations in scenarios where the LoS link is not available. The simulation outcomes affirm the effectiveness of our proposed method relative to conventional techniques.
