By focusing on the Ministry of culture and Islamic guidance and by analyzing the Journalistic texts during Joe Biden’s presidency through a diachronic perspective and drawing on Van Dijk’s (2006b) critical discourse analysis and the graduation system from Appraisal Theory (AT)(Martin & White, 2005) the study's findings aims to establish how linguistic resources are deployed by Iranian translators of the English reports constructing distinct ideological positioning. Also, by identifying the manipulations, the news actors, and actions, we could refer to the socio-political implications on the participants. We would be able to consider the various factors the institution or the news agency has taken and the social context the translated institution intended to serve.
