Making use of MALL in the language learning process in the EFL context is a new trend. Searching on how to teach and learn English pronunciation has received the least attention, even though it is linked to listening and speaking skills (Lowenberg, 2002; Levis, 2005; McArthur & Bishop, 2001). Nonetheless, teaching pronunciation as a field has witnessed a revival by some scholars who adhere pronunciation to proper English, i.e., “language learners need to have intelligible pronunciations to be able to express themselves more clearly in a variety of situations” (McKay, 2002; Seidlhofer, 2004; Widdowson, 2003; Saran et al., 2009, p. 98). Because it is a new technology in the classroom context, to the best of the knowledge of the researcher there isn’t any study that considers the effect of learning pronunciation through MALL on EFL learners’ attitudes, cognitive load, and performance specially in the EFL context of Iran. The findings of the present study maybe beneficial for language teachers and learners and material developers. The results of this study can encourage teachers to teach pronunciation by the use of mobile applications to enhance pronunciation learning. Also, students can use MALL in pronunciation improvement that can facilitate their learning. Since it is believed that if mobile learning or MALL is employed systematically and thoroughly, it may improve the students' English proficiency since it provides more innovative and flexible learning methods. Finally, material developers can design their material in the way that can eases the teaching and learning process through applying MALL in the curricula
