Sa'di is one of the famous Iranian poets and writers, one of his works is Gulistan. His works are available to his audience in translation. The translation of Gulistan was done by a person named Edward Rehatsek. Examining the English translation of Gulistan from the perspective of foreignization and domestication of Venuti's theory was an issue that analyzed the correct transfer of meaning and culture. In the domestication method, the foreign elements of the text are removed and the text is translated in such a way that there is no trace of the text being translated. On the other hand, the foreignization method is transferred in such a way that the effects of translation can be seen in the target text. In this regard, by using authentic Persian books and Persian language dictionaries, we identify structural, semantic and conceptual changes and based on these changes, we determine the type of methodology used in each of Gulistan's anecdotes. These reviews help us to make a comparison between the target text and the source text in terms of in terms of observing the rhyme and the concise, fine and pleasant way of his expression.
