Necessity and Significance of the Research Subject
The “study of the intertextuality between psychological theories and literary works is vital to expose the social practice of intertextuality in the articles by identifying its forms and qualities. The research shows that there are three main types of intertextualities and that they all serve important purposes in the articles. The oblique quote is the most common type, and providing matters in the element is the most common attribute. According to Pulungan et al. (2010), one social practice found in the articles is the use of intertextuality to give the impression that the articles are instructive texts”.
The term "intertextuality" describes a piece of writing that incorporates elements from another cited article. Examining the ways in which newer works reflect certain literary aspects from older ones is the goal of "this intertextual study". By doing so, they can identify literary connections, evaluate the author's inventiveness, and unearth historical aspects in each work, according to Farikhin (2019).
There "is no such thing as an autonomous text, thus it is impossible to ignore the intertextual interaction in literary works. A text relies on other texts for inspiration, structure, and other purposes throughout its production and reception (Teeuw, 1984: 145-146)". Due to "the inclusion of eavesdropping, translation, adaptation, and copying, the coverage's intertextuality is rather extensive. Those who are receptive to reading a text have similar perceptions (Teeuw, 1984:213). This is also true of literary works that are collectivistic and are transmitted either orally or in writing".
