In this paper, at first the concept of Caputo fractional derivative is generalized on time scales. Then the fractional order differential equations are introduced on time scales. Finally, suffi- cient and necessary conditions are presented for the existence and uniqueness of solution of initial value problem including fractional order differential equations.
